THE VOYAGE OF UISNEACH is a story of Ireland seen through the eyes of its people, and most importantly, through the eyes of two children who are forced to grow up far too soon. It is a story of loss, courage, love, resilience and hope.

A story that moves from the ancient rituals of Uisneach, through the devastating years of the Famine, onto the ships that carried Ireland's people across the Atlantic, and ultimately into the lives of the generations that followed. Through cinematic imagery, live theatre, Irish music, song and dance, the audience is taken on an emotional journey where past and present collide.

We witness Ireland through the eyes of children. We feel the pain of those who were left behind. We share the uncertainty of those who sailed into the unknown. And we discover how a people who endured unimaginable hardship could still carry hope into the future.

Because this is not only the story of what Ireland lost. It is the story of what Ireland carried forward.

The children grow.
The voyage continues.
The generations change.
But the fire remains.

THE FIRE OF UISNEACH BURNS WITHIN THEM. And it burns within us still.
