Sarah Nally - Head of Stage Schools / Drama Tutor

Sarah has had a passion for the arts since a young age, starting with dancing at 3, to after school drama club, to Drama at university. As a trained teacher in English and Drama, combining the Arts and education was a given and Sarah has a vast experience of teaching drama with various age groups in various contexts. She is a tutor in our Mullingar and Rural Stage Schools. Her involvement in other education-based projects include Musicals in Schools (Primary) Joseph, Oliver and the Jungle Book, Aladdin (2025). Drama outreach (All Primary classes), Narrative 4 Storytelling (Post Primary) as well as directing our annual in-house Stage School Musical productions - Frozen (2023), Shrek (2023), Matilda (2024), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2024), Newsies (2025) and The Little Mermaid (2025).
Sarah supports students with their RIAM and LAMDA exams in Speech and Drama, Acting, Musical Theatre and Creative Performance.
Sarah also runs our resident group Across the Boards. The drama, singing and musical theatre classes are for children and adults with additional needs and are a wonderful addition to our inclusive programme here in the centre. Their annual show isa huge hit and a chance for them to really showcase their talent. Sarah also runs the IMMERSION project, which is an inclusive theatre arts project for and with young people and adults with and without additional needs.
